The mystical Merlin pondered the black box as his gnarled fingers opened it. Inside, Castle Eduard had provided it rendition of the all high Prussian award of the Orden Pour le Merite. He decided then and there that it should go to the most worthy effort in the arena of stringbag replication. As he gazed into his crystal ball and announced his intention to the all high wizard at Castle Eduard.

The next day almost as if by magic, west across the channel in his humble hovel on the isle of Avalon the ancient prestidigitator and royal magician Kitmaker’s own Merlin was hunched over his work desk when he heard the thump of at his door. As he opened his front door he caught the glimpse of an 1888 Crown combination Postal Carriage and Hearse drawn by four dray horses of a deep black colour. The driver was a gaunt and haunting figure, said not a word. As he laid a figure aside his nose he called them by name. On Lizzy, on Vickie, on Annie on Herschel! To the top of the hill to the top of the mall...Now dash away dash away all!!! Then in like a flash they were gone. At his feet laid a small wooden box marked, Danger! Do not swallow!!!

Using his new wand to pry open the lid, What to his wondering eyes should appear? The bounty of Eduard’s generosity. Adding to the prizes for the Aeroscale Early Bird Aviation Contest 2006:
