Sorry for the lack of info guys. The kit is the new Panda UH-1D. Hand lettered the nose and used some decals from an armor kit (don't tell my winged warriors) for the !st Cav. crest on and around the Helo. The figures are DML. 1 set of helo crew and Col. Kilgore was also a DML figure. The helment mics and sunglasses were made from wire ties and the surf boards were made from a plastic we use at work called star board. Put 'em on a belt sander and went to shaping. I usually do one kit a year that is off the wall , just to take something out to the shows . Always find it fun to watch peoples reactions to something crazy or something that brings a good laugh. Glad you guys enjoyed it. It was alot of fun to build too.

Great job! It certainly brought back some memories. The only problem is now I'm going to have to go out and buy the movie so I can watch it again.

Thank you guys, It was alot of fun to build. Having an off the wall theme in mind made the build a trip. More fun than just putting it together. Have toyed with the idea of doing the Playboy chopper from the movie also, if I could just find the Bunnies .( Lady Bunnies that is)

The Dyanasty and Preiser lines at LINK " TARGET="_blank"> LINK have some1/35 nudes that could be dressed as bunnies. Several of the poses would work for a display similar to the scene in Apocalypse Now!

Thanks Al, I'll take a look at the site. I have posted about 9 new pictures of it in the new Gallery . They are alot clearer and nicer than the first ones.
