Introduction
This Oscar is Fine Molds rendition of an Ki-43 mark 3 in 1/48 scale.
I wanted to build a different Oscar and for this reason I choose a kamikaze one, it's a well-known type shown in a famous photograph of "Okinawa" or the special attack squadron unit of the war, when it was about to take off on the first and last mission on April 12,1945.
The bomb is a 550lb or 250Kg one taken from Hasegawa's 1/48 Ki-43 lb w/bomb and also the tank rack.

Great build, Bronson - you have captured the worn and weathered look of the aircraft very well.
Is that a real colour picture for 1945?
Thanks for sharing

No It is not. It is a photo taken from a new japanese movie on the kamikaze. Looks pretty neat doesn't it?
