Some notes about the model
The kit is from heller in 1/72 scale made in the early 80´s. It was later reissued by Smer and I dont recommend it because of the rised panel lines, too big turbines, wheels with absolutely no detail, strange looking cockpit etc...To give the model a decent look I used PE parts from eduard, decals from smer and techmod, some CMK parts and an old Revell me 262 A-1.
The main problem during the build was that the CMK nose (made for Revell kit) didnt fit into the fuselage. So I had to do alot of sanding and puttying . After that followed the rescribing of the entire model. I used a small saw from CMK which is meant for cutting canopies.
The camouflage was done freehand and took some time. Weathering was done with black wash and some pastels. To protect the surface I clear coted the model with gunze matt acrylic.

Zoran, I completely agree!
Consider demonstrating how you made such convincing trees?
Great work!

I am honestly shocked!
When I saw this model in the contest gallery I genuinely did not know it was 1/72 scale! I really thought it was bigger. Wow! All the more respect to the modeller. Well done!!
