About the Kit
The Revell model is a reboxing of the 1/48 scale Hasegawa kit and was built from the box and painted with Tamiya acrylics. The main colour is a strongly brightened up black. The decals are from Tally Ho! (TY48005) and are easy to use. However, it is problematic that the letters are rather translucent and despite some treatment with Micro set and Sol it wasn't possible to eliminate some silvering of the carrier film. Thus, many places were given a subsequent treatment with the black-grey color.
