Some notes about the model
This is Special Hobby's Spitfire Mk. Vc kit built out of the box, except for the markings, as an aircraft coded UF-S, serial n. BR301, flown by Flight Sargent George "Buzz" Beurling of No. 249 Sqn from Malta on 27 July 1942.  "Buzz" scored 4 kills in this aircraft on this day.

The decals are from the Victory Productions sheet "Spitfire: Aces of the Empire" (VPD48006) which is sadly out of production. The painting has been done with the new acrylic range of paints from Revell which are excellent.

The diorama was made with "North African" buildings available from Mark58 and various accessories from ICM (ladder, cart and fuel drums), Eduard (Bicycle) and Tamiya (pilot figure).

About marc toillie (mark58)
FROM: BAS-RHIN, FRANCE

I've been modelling aircraft for some years now, around 40 with some interuptions, and I'm just wondering about the broad offer of superb modelling stuf which exists today. My favorite areas are from WW2 to the 70s. I like to create scenes in various styles, including figurines, vehicles , equipment...

Great dio Marc. I like the bicycle and the replacement vertical stabilizer. Both are a nice touch.
