Some notes about the model
This MiG-17 model by Oliver Peissl appeares in the 09/2009 issue of Modell-Fan Deutschland. This issue was supposed to be the last but one of this 35 years old German modelling magazine but fortunately this seems not to be the case anymore. Indeed, the publishing house Schünemann Verlag has made the announcement that Modell-Fan will continue under the GeraMond Verlag München banner... for the pleasure of the numerous german readership!Oliver has finished the excellent 1:48 scale MiG-17 "Fresco C" Hobby Boss kit in the camouflage and markings of a machine used by the Egyptians during the Six Days War in 1967.

Very nice job on the MiG, Oliver. You captured the look of the Egyptian camouflage very well.
Thanks for sharing

The -17 isn't my favorite MiG, but this one looks fantastic. The finish is outstanding.
