Airedale Navy Campaign

Airdale, airedale - Naval aviator, aka 'BROWNSHOE'. Can also refer to any member
of the aviation community, officer or enlisted. From envy, often
prefixed by non-aviation types with expletive adjectives.
Almost since the advent of air power planes have been modified or designed for operation at sea.
This campaign deals only with those that have taken off and landed on aircraft carriers.
Over six monthn 18 modellers completed builds of aircraft for this group build.
There is wide variety of aircraft from the early thirties through to the Norwegian Campaign, the Pacific Fleets, Korea, Suez conflicts and the Vietnam war, the Cold War era, Gulf Wars and right up to present day.
Here are the results of their efforts. I think you'll agree they all deserve their "Wings of Gold" ribbon.

I watched this campaign with much jealousy but just couldn't bring myself to join up as I didn't have anything in the stash that was viable.
JP you have put together a great feature here of some really stunning builds !!
Congratulations to all of you.
Cheers, D
