Sopwith F.1/3 Comic

Roden's kit is absolutely stunning. They included special parts for the nightfighter version. Parts are flash free, and fit very well. I had to do just a few minor upgrades. (thinning the cowling and carving a new propeller from wood).

I used Gunze paints in almost everywhere on the model, and Misterkit PC-10 around the cockpit.

I found only one picture of this unusual Comic. If somebody knows more about this special camouflage, please let me know.

Hi Michal Thanks for the heads-up (the scroll function must have still been active after I selected the author's call-sign from the drop-down menu). All sorted now. All the best Rowan

No problem Rowan, that happens. It's hard to believe this is 72 scale. Peter models are always awsome, no matter where and when I see them. It's a bit pitty that he doesn't show his work "in progress" or maybe I miss something?

Peter - That's outstanding! All the more so given the fact that it's 1/72 scale. I have quite a few WW I kits I intend to do once I finish Grad School. Until then, I'll enjoy yours!! Thanks for sharing!
