A-26C Rear Compartment
This area also is not restored to military configuration but it is a good reference for detailing. Shot through the side hatch, this is the area that housed the belly remote control gun turret. You can see through the bulkhead opening into the gunner station, past which is the compartment for the upper remote control gun turret, just aft of the bombbay. Looking the other way you see aft into the rear fuselage. The control cables and aircraft structure are interesting. Note the cables run in front of the port observation window.

Remarkable are the different paints used in the area. Gray for the crew area, zinc chromate for the access area, and olive for the rear fuselage interior.
