Some notes about the model
That's Revell's (reboxed Hasegawa) 1:72 scale Heinkel He 111 H-6, built as the transport plane used by the Detachment Kuhlmey stationed in Finland to help repel the Soviet offensive on the summer of 1944. The commander of the unit, Oberstleutnant Kurt Kuhlmey arrived in Finland on this particular plane. The kit was built for the Big Beautiful Bombers campaign with the help of Eduard zoom PE set for the cockpit as well as canopy masks. More photos of the finished model can be seen on the campaign thread, as well as in-progress pics (starting from page 5) along with commentary on the build.

One of my favorite planes, and just beautifully done. Great job all around. I'm not surprised at all it's a contest winner. Congrats, Eetu.
Cheers,
