I like to share some photos of our projekt "Jasta 5 at Boistrancourt in Summer 1917". We, that is a group of modeling enthusiasts from Hamburg and Niedersachsen in Germany. The name we´ve choosen for us is the "Hamburger Modellbau Team".
It took two years of research, planning and building for this diorama of the Jasta 5 in France in 1:48 scale. The diorama is 3 meters long and 1.10 meter deep. All the buildings and the "8t Einheits-Lkw" van are scratchbuild, the over 30 figures are most of the Hecker&Goros, CMK. Jaguar, Model Cellar and some eduard plastic figures are among them, all a little bit changed. All the 14 aircraft are from the Eduard Range, Albatros D.V and Albatros D.III.
We´ve showed this diorama last year at first at the "Lübeck Modellbaushow" and then at the "EuroModelExpo 2010" at Heiden/Westfahlen in Germany with great success.
I hope, you´ll like it for posting at the aeroscale site.
Sincerely Yours, Thomas Schmidt (Blackbeard)

Hi Thomas,
Fantastic diorama indeed...
I will be at the Model Expo in Siegen on Mai 8th. You won't happen to be there as well with your dio?

Salut Jean-Luc,
thanks a lot for your kind words. Sorry, but we are not at the Siegen-Show, we´re only at HeidenModelExpo this Year.
Greetings, Thomas
