Hanger Queen Campaign

The Hanger Queen Campaign was recent concluded and was themed around part built kits that had been returned to the stash. The Hangar Queen was an aircraft that was used for parts to make other planes operational. For this campaign the builder had to resurrect the Hangar Queen and get it flying again.
Justin McCracken came up with the idea but due to health issues he handed the reins over to Sean Hadfield. Sean continued to lead the campaign with the following 19 ‘Queens’ were completed built by entrants with some outstanding builds:
HH-62 by Sean Hadfield (windysean)
RY-3 by Adam Maas (mykroft)
Seaking by Warren Inman (warreni)
F-4F by Delbert (Delbert)
Hurricane IIc by Rob Storey (29Foxtrot)
F-15J by Neil (RedwingNev)
A-20G Boston by Rob Storey (29Foxtrot)
A-37B by Alcatraz Logan (Vertigo)
AN-12 Cub by Jessica Cooper (Jessie_C)

F-15E by Leo Cascinova (Rebuilda)
Bf109G-10 by Ray Keener (SellSword)

Thia was a great campaign.
My MPM 1/72 Me 262 fought me al the way and reminded me why the kit was unfinished in the first place. My build literally went to the trash bin and once to the spares box - without the campaign it would probably have stayed there.
In the end it got finished thanks to a well run campaign. Great to participate - looking forward to the next one
