Amazing Composite Photos

Introduction

"I'm a model builder in Jupiter, Florida and a member of IPMS/USA group Ft.Lauderdale "Flight 19. Have been building forever and love model crafting with a passion. I also love aviation photography and naturally began shooting pictures of my models after they were built and when Adobe Photoshop came along in the early 90's, I found a way to bring all three passions together to create a unique form of art I call artist representations.

Somewhere the blending of three different artistic mediums create something that is more than just a photograph, or a model."

editor's comments

David uses background photos that he takes while flying, then superimposes photos of his finished models to put them in their narutal element. He uses kits from 1/144 to 1/32, and enjoys "What If?" subjects. He tells us that his next subject is a 1/32 F-8 Crusader in Blue Angels markings. If it's anywhere near the quality of the models he has shared with us, it's going to be spectacular.
