IPMS UK's 2012 annual show took place over the weekend of the 10th and 11th November in Telford. This is the premier show and competition for the IPMS UK attracting exhibitors, manufacturers, traders and competitors from around the world.
The standard of competition and exhibits is always high as modellers show their work to an always appreciative crowd. Allen Berry was Aeroscale's man on the ground at this year's show and his camera caught these images for us.
More details of the show can be found at the IPMS UK's show website Scale Model World

Hi Allen
Many thanks for the report. There are some fantastic builds on show there!
Were there any surprises among the new kits on display? The Revell P-39 should be a huge hit if it's good.
All the best

Hi Rowan
The there was a couple of kits/bits that peaked my curiosity. looks like Revell are had a 1/48 P-47N with different decals but no box to be seen.
There was a Czech firm there called HpH Models with some amazing 1/18 scale resin engines for the P-51 and Bf 109 (DB605) they also had on show an impressive 1/32 full resin and glass fibre kit of the PBY-5A Catalina which is in progress along with some others. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos but I did pick up leaflet. Their website is HpH Models

Hi Allen
Yes - HpH Models are stunning! I've been very tempted by their Avia B.534 and P-63 Kingcobra for some time.
All the best

I kno it is not very well liked to lead away in a feature thread, but I have two galleries of Telford pix. One is by Jean-Luc, so it is at least related

I picked up the Packard Merlin. It looks stunning and I'm going to get stuck into it sooner rather than later. Although with my present slower than a snails pace of getting anything done other than work it might be a while
