There was a what-if class at 08 Open in Stockholm a few weeks ago. The only thing these aircraft have in common is that none of them ever served in the Swedish Airforce. Apart from the Draken that never served in the USAF! Enjoy!

Must be something in the water, first the SAAB J29 and now this, next thing they will design a lightweight 4th gen fighter that's as good as anything else out there and call it Grippen. Oh wait they've done that

Well, I was thinking of something a little more unified like the Swedish Air Force. Say a smaller air force, central Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, Australia? Or feature aircraft from a particular decade in non-typical markings. Bolivian F-86, Armenian Jaguar, North Korean Spitfire.

Those are wonderful. I like the one nation theme, and seeing them all in one place must certainly have been worth the price of admission. I'd be interested in joining another "What If" campaign here as well.
