About Jim Starkweather (staff_Jim)
FROM: NEW HAMPSHIRE, UNITED STATES

I started building models in 1971 when I was 6. My first model was a 1/32 P-40 Warhawk. Revell I believe. From there I moved onto the standard cars, Apollo spacecraft, and other kid orientated kits. Too bad indeed I am sure that there will be some AM decal sheets available in no time! It looks to be a nice kit. Cheers, D

I'm not sure the Aussies flew the IIIC. I think the IIIO had the lengthened forward fuselage, so this kit wouldn't be appropriate for them. Sorry about that! Hi there Those "tractor" tyres for the engine cart still look pretty chunky compared with shots of most similar items in a quick web-search. Surely, major servicing like that would be carried out on prepared surfaces, not going "cross-country"? A lot of engine cradles have what look like heavy-weight casters. All the best Rowan

Here's a photo I found which shows the 'tractorish' tires:

Would not be surprised, they're pretty good that way! Michael

The detail on the Atar is incredible. It looks like a promising model.

Hi Jessie The tread doesn't look as heavy as it seems from the video. More "truck" than "tractor". All the best Rowan
