Awesome japanese aircraft from Fred, I love his badly-chipped paint job.
My hat off, JPTRR !

Hi all!
I already said it was an outstanding paint chipping job... Fred is on step closer to the "King of Weathering" title in the Heavy Weight category! More paint chipping would be bare metal finish... :-)

Nice one Fred, that's one way to save paint I need to get on and have a go at extreme weathering, looks like fun.

Still looks amazing Fred, even after the hundred times i have looked at it, trying to see if i can do it that well ( nope i can't ).
Mal it is really fun ripping paint off after you put down the perfect coat, why do you think i keep doing Jap planes. Its like doing those ground target things you can just keep weathering :-) .

Hi Johnny
That sound like a cue for everyone to find their favourite "incredibly weathered" Japanese aircraft photos, bceause - believe me - there were some showing quite astonishing paint-wear...
All the best
