1⁄48English Electric Lightning F.6
Basilos Giehos sets aside his ship building to partake in more aircraft fun! This time, he worked up a 1/48 scale English Electric Lightning F.6 from Airfix.
This excellent Airfix kit was upgraded using a Cutting Edge resin cockpit. This cockpit was really a piece of art and enjoyable to paint it! I also used and an Aviation Workshop decal set to represent an aircraft from 23 squadron. The model was painted using Vallejo Metal Colors and a blue-black panel liner from AMMO by Mig Jimenez was used for the panel lines.
