PZL P.11

History
The PZL P.11 was a Polish fighter aircraft, designed in the early 1930s by PZL in Warsaw. It was briefly the most advanced fighter aircraft of its kind in the world. The PZL P.11 served as Poland's primary fighter defence in the Polish campaign of 1939, but with the rapid advances in aircraft design in the late 1930s (seen in such fighters as the Messerschmitt Bf 109), it proved outclassed by its rivals at the onset of the war.

History adapted from Wikipedia.
The Model
This is Silverwings' new 1/32 resin kit of the PZL P.11. The Romanian markings were adapted from the Techmod BF-109 sheet after a lot of struggle. They did not react appreciably to Set or Sol, and in any case, the PZL's very complicated wing surface meant that they had to be very carefully cut into sections and applied around the surface detail.

The interior was enhanced by a Yahu instrument panel, and harness and compass from HGW. These aftermarket parts are highly recommended.

Very nice work Borys! I like this kind of plane very much. Is there a pilot planned for it, too?
