This is a built of the 1/72 Italeri H-21 out of the box build by Grant Berry. The build was found on Facebook, and looks amazing, and I felt this needs to be shared with the AeroScale community.
This is the 2011 boxing, but still the 1999 tooling of the kit. I have not but done many helicopters, but am intrigued by the early ones, the “Flying Banana” most of all.
The kit has a major flaw, in that when the fuselage halves are joined, in some areas (from rear door to front), panel lines do not line up. So I filled said panel lines on the top and bottom, and re-scribed them in new locations, so that they would not meet either panel lines on the side of the fuselage halves.
