Now I very rarely indulge in builiding planes as I tend to go towards figures or AFV's or dioramas...however I have decide to venture into the weird world of planes...LOL (having said that I learnt to fly in the ATC) as I want to build a dio for a friend set in the the Battle of Britain. Finding Hurricanes (I'm not building Spits as I prefer Hurricanes) is not a problem but ground crew etc is. Has anyone used the ICM figure set and if so are they any good? If not any suggestions?

Hi Karl!
The ICM RAF figures are probably the best injected figures in 1:48 scale that I know of. You can find some pictures of them (unpainted) here: RAF Dispersal Pen diorama.
The following 1/48 WW2 Aircraft Diorama Figures and AC feature may also be of interest for you, even if it was published some times ago and needs to be updated.
Eduard have just released a set of RAF figures this month. They are probably not as good as the ICM ones (though I only saw pictures so far) but they have the advantage to depict pilots in "scramble" action.
I'm looking forward to see your diorama featured on Aeroscale...
Jean-Luc

Hi Karl:
I used the ICM RAF Pilots & Ground Crew figures this year for a Dio here in Aeroscale´s Campaign Duel in the Sky.
They are very good, I recomend them. Here are some pics:
