Great Models Webstore has had this kit in pre-order status for over a year. Any idea if this kit will ever come to fruition? If not them, will anybody else come out with one in this scale?

Greetings Carl;

Hi-Tech's owner Phillipe Jourdan had the master ready about 2 years ago. I have seen images of it and I know several fellows in Europe that have been to contests where he displayed it. Whatever the reason he has not been able to mass produce the kit or some of its needed components.

In one or two man operations several factors can weigh heavily on the release of a kit. The issues could be personal, financial or even legal in nature. I can say no more.

That is unfortunate. There is a void in 1/32 D.Vs. I am suprised Roden has not made the jump from D.III to D.V. I am sure if Roden announced one, there would probably be releases from one or two other companies as well.

JackFlash. Yeah I agree. Money needs to be made. But I do it for the love of the sport. Do you think we could be considered professional model making athletes?

Draken35akaScimitar. Thanks to you. I guess I will keep it on preorder. Maybe I will up it, and preorder a few more. Whats another year when there is an Albatros at stake.
