i recently got my hands on the hasegawa 1/32 f86f sabre, and i really want to do this kit the right way, extra detail rescride panel lines(ETC) but the thing i need to know is did the korean f86f have leading edge slats and did it have the extra bit added to the wing tip and did it have rockets fitted to the pylons?. i have looked on the net for info but one site says yes and another says no can someone help please,i build mostly armour but watched a series called dogfights on tv saw the f86 and just had to build it, if anyone out there can help i await your reply. thanks.

The F-86A though E had slats. The F which was the most common later in the war had a fixed leading edge and what was called a 6,3 wing wich meant the leading edge was extended 6" at the root and 3" at the tip. The extra bit at the wingtip is part of the F40 wing and was a post war change. Most F40 wings had leading edge slats but some did not this wing was used mainly on export versions.
