I see looking at the official U.S. Air Force website that fighter pilot Brig. General Robin Olds has died. He died in the last week just shy of his 85th birthday.
Olds flew P-38's and P-51's in the ETO during WW2 and flew some innovative fighter sweeps during the Vietnam war in F-4 Phantoms. Phantom II to be absolutely accurate.
