Dear All,
I have just got the 1/32 Revell FW190F8 kit no. 04176.
Could anyone tell me the origin of this kit as i was under the assumption it was the Hasegawa mould, but having looked at the sprues on the net they don't match. ie, the wheel wells are integral with the wing not a seperate moulding, and it appears to have raised panel lines.
If anyone can help i would be gratefull.
Thanks,
Rodders.

Hello Andrew,
It's the old Hasegawa kit with new parts. The new sprues contains the small bombs and wing bomb racks.

Hi Andrew,
I have about 4 1/32 FW´190 and all I can say is:
-Be prepared for hard work man.... the verlinden resin is ok, but A LOT OF WORK is required, specially the undercarriage and the flaps station.

Hi,
Thanks for the heads up. I took the cowards way out and took it back to the model shop. I'm a regular and he very kindly allowed me to swap it.
It only cost £12.99 so i swapped it for a Tamiya FW190D9 for the same price which i thoughr was a bargain.
The only thing is that it has no engine detail in the wheel bay, i tried to find MDC'S detail set to no avail. I may just use it for practice.
Thanks again,
Rodders.
