Hello. Once I finish two models I am currently working on I plan on getting started with my AML 1/72 Heinkel He-45. I have searched Squadron, RollModels and google to try and find books or websites with useful info, but have found nothing so far. I have read somewhere that this plane was very common during the Spanish Civil War, so I don't know why this search is proving so difficult. If anyone can help out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michael

Sorry, there is onle very few stuff. I have an article somewhere in one of my many magazines, which I did not find (I have no index on the mags).

There is a website about aircraft of the spanish civil war ( http://www.zi.ku.dk/personal/drnash/model/spain/index.html ) And I could have sworn that there was a booklet about the He 45 in the Quirón Ediciones Aircraft range (but I could not find it) ... http://www.quironediciones.com/

While searching I found this: http://usuarios.lycos.es/mrvalverde/GC121701.HTM .. at least a little bit of information

best wishes

Steffen

Thank you for the help. I just wish there were some interior photos to see if the metal tubes were painted the same interior color or left bare. Maybe there are some other old Luftwaffe aircraft of similar construction from the period I can find some info on.
