Hi Chris.
I cant say for certain with the Luftwaffe cockpits.Personally I use Humbrol 79.
RAF,,humbrol 78, although some people think its a bit light. I also use this for wheel bays.
USAAF I use Humbrol 117. Wheel wells would be different colours to cockpits.I tend to use the Tamiya yellow/green. XF4 I think off the top of my head
Hope this helps

Hi Chris,

Since you obviously use enamel paints, why not use our Colourcoats enamel paints that are accurately matched to originals? For the colors you asked about:

WW2 Luftwaffe:
Colourcoats ACLW 12, RLM Grau (RLM 02);

WW2 RAF:
Colourcoats ACRN 28, British Interior Grey-Green;

WW2 USAAF:
Colourcoats ACUS 09, Interior Green (FS 24151);
Colourcoats ACUS 22, Zinc Chromate Green;
Colourcoats ACUS 23, Zinc Chromate Yellow;
Colourcoats ACUS 24, Dull Dark Green.

We've also got correct WW2 interior colors for the Soviet Air Force (VVS), the Regia Aeronautica, the French Armee de l'Air, the Imperial Japanese Army & Navy air forces, and modern Soviet/Russian. Of course we've also got accurate exterior colors as well, over 330 aircraft, ship & armor colors. We have no minimum order on paints, and we ship worldwide. There are also a number of online shops around the world that carry Colourcoats.

Hi John

Don't forget Colourcoats ACLW 16 RLM 66 for the Luftwaffe too.

All the best
