Hi Mike.
You need to copy and paste the UBB code.
I love the paintwork on this.
Congratulations on a very fine finish.

Super paint job. How did you do it? Mine just came in the mail, and I really like the tones of your streaky Fokker finish. Once again, great job.

Hi Mike
I can only echo what the others have said in praise of the subtle streaked camouflage! I think you should write a little "How to..." to let us in on the secret.
All the best
Rowan

Many thanks for the kudos. My technique for producing the streaky finish is as follows:
1. tamyia paints throughout
2. iwata air brush on low pressure setting
3. lots of thinner
I started by undercoating with a light blue tamyia paint - lightened further with some flat white. I then used a dark green thinned about 50/50 with a low pressure setting, making repeated quick passes with the airbrush held very close the the surface. The thin mixture allowed the streaks to be very subtle at first and then I could build them up when I got them where the looked right. I had tried brush painting them but with Tamyia's paints drying so quickly the results were not a nice. The good thing about the air brush is that it allows a slow build up of paint. I also noticed that the photos of the real air craft seemed to have a smudged effect on the streaks so some overspray seemed to simulate this as well.
I have not been able to master this technique in smaller scales yet. Still trying though.
Thanks for the compliments. I quess I will have to upload some more.
