Hi All

I bought this set last friday and it is great. I hope ICM will continue to bring us such nice sets. These are the best quarterscale figures in plastic I have ever seen (even the Modelkasten Wittmann crew is not better) Here are a few pictures:

(the porky major left is my favorite, although the group around the dog is also very nice)

Another Soviet set is already announced and I am curious if the 1/48 cars can reach this quality level.

(a short German article can be found here: Luftwaffe Ground Personnel

best wishes

Hi Steffen

Thanks for the first look - something tells me Jean-Luc will want this set!

All the best

Hi Rowan!

If Staff is allowed to post here my answer is definitely YES! But I am also (perhaps more) looking forward to their Soviet set and vehicles. Eduard will also release some nice stuff soon and with Tamiya's 1/48 range of vehicles things are looking good for the aircraft diorama builders!

Hi Jean-Luc and Rowan

of course staff is allowed, I was just pointing out in the other thread that only staff members were participating in the trivia.

As for vehicles, I also have put reviews of the GMC and Steyr on my site .. both have that darn metal chassis ... i supposed to throw them all on the person in charge for that crappppppp ... else they are quite nice, but much too expensive in Germany. They go for about 27 Euro while they are 1800 yen in Japan (which is about 10 Euro at the moment!)

I am also looking forward to the Soviet soldiers ... and the Opel

As for eduard: I bought the Luftwaffe set some years ago and it was junk. Every figure had a hole in his chest and/or back and the material was somhow rubberish, which makes clean up very dificult ... I will try their new Soviet set next month, just to see if they improved ...

best wishes

Hi Steffen

I sent Eduard's new RAF and VVS figures to Jean-Luc last week, so he should get them any day now to give us his assessment.

All the best
