Whilst putting in a cat flap, guess who forgot the shelf was above the idiots head, yep me .
And down it came, the F-100, F-101, and the F-102 didn't fly very well and landed even worse.
Oh well I was wondering what to build next. Looks like a salvage job, once I figure out what bit goes on what aircraft .
Morale of the story, don't do any D.I.Y .

Ouch That's going to need a big bandage, I have no doubt you'll have them back in formation real soon.

Hmmm,, reading this thread brings 3 questions to mind.
1....How low was the shelf???
2....How bigs the cat????
3.....What on earth possesed Lena to allow you to be let loose with DIY equipment of any sort???!!!!!
Have fun figuring out what bits go where. Im sure you'll have them together again soon mate
Nige
PS. Ive just put all my collection in a display cabinet on the wall at home. Hopefully they will STILL be there where I get home later today
My DIY skills are on a par with yours mate

Now you got an excuse to buy some more kits. Replacements, you know.
Good luck on that one. Did you finish the catdoor?

Wow, talking about bad luck - or DIY
Is it not dangerous to have a cat that close to your models anyway?
Hope they will come together well.

Hi Andy
Ouch! Painful! - in every sense of the word.
And, to add insult to injury, I bet you'd only just unpacked the models after your house-move too...
All the best

Thanks for the kind words, but I should really get a cabinet as this isn't the first time a model has fell off a shelf.
I wish it was a cute white thing, instead of the great fluff ball I have .
Well the F-100 is back together, but it was the least damaged ofthe three.
Yes Rowan they had only been up a day .

Well my modelling room is done apart from getting some cabinets, so I shall never do anymore D.I.Y again .
Here is a couple of pics of the new room. On the second pic you can see the shelf the aircraft fell off of. The door underneath is where the catflap went.
