Hi All,

Here are some shots of my completed A-10A. Built from the Revell kit with decals coming from the Italeri kit. Represents 80-0186 which took part in ODS and was pretty much shot up. Feedback and critique welcome.

Two words…Like It! Excellent work and the paint looks great also, like how it was feathered/blended in. any chance you can share your paint technique. You say it represents a hot shot up in ODS, it would happen to be the one “Kim (KC) Campbell” flew.

Great job. You made a mediocre kit look great. You should be proud of that one.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the kind comments.

As for the painting technique, no special technique needed here. I firstly airbrushed the lighter green (Gunze 303 FS34102) to their respective areas. Then came to the dark green (Gunze 302 FS34092) according to the painting guide. Finally came the grey (Gunze 301 FS36081).

Parts which were painted wrongly were touched up accordingly.

Thanks once again.

Regards,
Mark

Amazing job. I love the paint job. The wife broke my last A-10 but this makes me want to build another one.

good work pal. excellent.
This is one of my first painted kit when i started back this hobby. My experience with this kit, it's hard to get perfect join for the turboprops to fit into the center of the cowling. Since i was so novice back then, i just leave them like that.
Anyway, this build really remind me of how naive i am back then.
The painting was perfect!
