O.K. I have soldered P.E. before and have never had a problem until now. I am working in a DML Dr. I and am having the hardest time soldering the gun barrel jackets. I have annealed them to bend easier, then cleaned them with a file, put some flux on and nothing. The solder just will not attach to the metal. It just balls up and falls off. Any tips? Thanks.

Greetings Roy;

No need to solder them. The DML / Dragon items are meant only to anneal

Roy,
The etch that DML WWI kits come with are actually stainless. Very difficult to solder.

Cheers,

That would pretty much answer my question. Stainless steel. O.K. I guess its up to the super glue to hold them round. Thanks guys.

Actually the bending around the dowel and rolling the whole affair over a flat surface is what will holds the seam. Cyano-glue just seals it from accidental bending while handling.
