Hi folks is it possible to get a 1/48 scale ME109 2 seater. I know that there is a 2 seater Spitfire in model form, but it is rare.
Any advice folks would be much appreciated.

You're looking for a BF109G-12. Falcon had a vacuform conversion some years back which is still available. There used to be some old resin kits, but they are long out of production. There is an chapter in Brett Green's Osprey title "Modeling the Bf109 F and early G Series" on doing the Falcon conversion. It is a little tricky and experience with vacuform is recommended.

It would be a tricky conversion to make. If you decide to go for it. I can recommend Kageros "Bf 109 G" series of books. If you want I can check which of the three books holds the drawings etc for the two seater?

Hope this helps

There's a build article using the Falcon conversion and the Academy G-14 in the July 2005 edition of Scale Avation Modeller International
