Afew pics of my July entry, which is my "Down Low" entry as well.
This is the 1/32 Revell Hurricane IIC kit converted to a IID version using a rough re-pop of Paragon cannon pods(long oop).Cannon barrels are aluminum and copper tubing and pod seam is soft solder wire. The wing bumps for the 20mm armament were removed and the openings for the twenty's were filled. A browning .303 tracking weapon wing opening was re-installed. The pilot was altered with a new right arm that actually grips the joy stick .The spinning prop effect was done by fashioning a molds of the prop nose and hub and then casting new versions. The clear disc is from packaging material that was sanded smooth, glossed up with Future, and then flattened with Dulcote.
Chipping in the paint was accomplished with the 'salt' method.Base and cammo colors done by spray can with scrap T-shirt cloth masking.Decals by Eagle Cal,using their desert AF P-40 offering as none available for hurricanes in this scale.
