Well, I“m not really that much of an airplane builder, but I have allways liked the Corsair and wanted to build one, so with the vacation comming up, 2 weeks without TV, internet etc. I decided to give it a try ... this is the result ... for better or worse

Jan,
Great job! The chipped paint looks realistic and well done. The only negatives I see are the glossy tires and prop. Maybe a oil wash over the wheel hubs would add more depth. Other wise a great show.

Thanks Derek, I was wondering about the instructions calling out for a semigloss propeller - of to the paintshop for a mat coat and a wheelwash

I think it came out real nice. You can also hit the tires with a little mig black smoke pigment. That will take off the shine. You really did justice to this aircraft.

Den ser godt ud, Jan!
Nice job on that one. Other than what the other guys have mentioned it looks cool and is a very good build - especially if it is the first one in a long time.
Thanks for sharing

Looks good Jan.
Would be nice if you finished the piper cub also.
There just happens to be a new campaign starting over on Model Geek just for the piper cub.
