I was wondering if anyone knows if the aircraft flown by the UN Peacekeeping forces in 1956 were painted a particular colour or if the roundrels were changed to show that they were with the UN Forces? Or were they just left with their 'normal' country's force colours?
I don't seem to be able to find any pics of aircraft that were involved with the UN forces from this event.
I want to build my C-119 Boxcar as it appeared with the RCAF during this time. My father was a navigator on one of them.

Hi Doug,
It might say in the book "Wings Over Suez" http://www.amazon.com/Wings-over-Suez-Brian-Cull/dp/1898697485 but my copy is a bit inaccessible at the moment.
Next time I dig it out, I will have a look for you.
However, I highly recommend this book to any one interested in the subject.
All the best,
Kristian.
