Hello,
Started to build Huma'a Ju287V1. Temporary taped for fitting and weight requirement controls. Filled pin holes in cockpit. Kit has some sink marks on top.
However a bit large engraved panel lines, I think it will be nice bird.
Regards.

Hi Serhan!
Welcome to Aeroscale!
Wow, you are building a "Frankenstein" plane! I suppose you know that the Ju287 was made with He177 parts and also some from a downed B-24!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to see some progress on this strange bird. I hope you will consider writing a feature about it once the model is finished.

Hello
In addition to Mr. Jean-Luc Formery, Mr.Uwe W. Jack's book titled' Ju 287 und EF 131 says '' I guess '' tail section of a Ju-188G-2 also has been used on this ' Frankenstein ' . For main landing gear Mr. David Donald's book ' Warplanes of the Third Reich ' says Ju352's main wheels used on Ju 287. It seems only wings orginally designed for project Ju287.
Now I am waiting for battery chargers on my yearly vacation for holding up this Frankenstein. Suppose to finish it towards end of this week. Errr I may also use wife's potential static nerves as power source

Lots of weight added into fuselage before fix. This was not mentioned in instruction sheet.
Seems small amount of putty will required on main fuselage.
Assembly of one piece horizontal stabilizer which has to be put between two halves of fuselage before fix caused some difficulties like wings.
I suggest another way of fixing wings and horiz.stab.
For catching nice dihedral I had to cut long excess parts of wings which are going through the fuselage. Otherwise I should have problem on starboard wing dihedral. Now just need some putty in joint.
Regards.

Hi Serhan!
Looks very good so far!
Are those levers in the cockpit scratchbuilt?

No, coming with the box. There is one small tree of plastic parts looks paid much more attention includes all cockpit items, Rato hooks and a ladder.
