I just bought the TAMIYA 1/48 Propeller action skyraider from Great Models, anything I should know prior to this build, or any good articles on the TAMIYA Skyraider?

Have you checked Hyperscale.com? I have the Tamiya Corsair of the same propeller action. Haven't started it yet, but am looking forward to it.
