Albatros D.III Detail SetPosted: Friday, August 10, 2007 - 10:04 AM UTC
Along with last night's Pfalz D.III upgrade, Tom's Modelworks have also very kindly sent us their comprehensive etched set for Roden's 1/32 scale Albatros. Dohh! It's not fair! Do I really deserve this level of temptation to try my hand at large-scale WW1 aircraft?! I think the answer has to be a resounding "YES!"....

Upgrade is right. While the Tom' Modlworks stuff has always had great detail parts now he is including dual ended turnbuckles in his frets.

It is a nice set. I used it and will use it again on my next D.III. I don't see the turnbuckles. Are they on a different, must buy, set?
