This is my first attempt at building a 1/144 scale kit, easy to build but not as easy to paint as larger scale models. I have another Fw 190, two Me 262s and a Ju 52 kit in this scale and will use them from time to time in the background of some of my photobase pictures. Also planned is a 1/144 scale hanger to go along with the models.

I am amazed at what can be done with a camera and a few small scale aircraft. I never considered doing 1/144 scale before. But now I can see some advantage to having some of these around.

Carl,
I only wanted some of these tiny models for things to add in the background of some of my pictures but I had fun building this one and I want to build more of them, I hope somebody will kit some of the German bomber paper projects like the Ju 488, Ar E555, Ta 400, and others. I know there are resin kits of some Luft'46 bombers out there but I prefer plastic kits.

Looks great, you really know how to make those photos look realistic.

Thanks very much Jesper!
I want to try one of those Platz 1/144 scale Fw 190D-9s, I have seen a few of them built and they look like they have better detail than the Eduard Fw 190 has.
