I have just bought the Testors Gee Bee racer kit, and am wondering about it. It seems to me to be a bit of a time warp kit, with the painting lines engraved on it, and just the general style of the thing.
Does anyone know the kits history, previous maker etc.
Does anyone know how well it builds up?
All/any help appreciated.

Hi Mark...
Yessir, a blast from the past, mate!
I remember building the kit when it was a "Hawk Model" kit (really dating myself), before Testors re-boxed the thing...been quite a few years, but as I remember, it built rather easily (for an 8 year old boy!) and made a grand display...

thanks, Gunny.
I assumed it was an old one, as the real old kits I have seen have this type of engraving, for the paint lines etc.
