Hi all!
Everybody knows that Tamiya has recently released a Swordfish Mk II in their 1:48 scale aircraft serie. The kit was number 99 and a lot of modelers wonder what release n°100 will be... Well, Tamiya just gave a clue about this mystery kit on their homepage.
In the description of the 50th kit of their MM serie (a Sd.Kfz.250/3), they wrote the following sentence:
"Will be the perfect diorama match for our upcoming 1/48 Aircraft Series 100th release!"
Now I wonder what aircraft it will be? Probably WW2, German and Afrika Korps. The fact that there is a figure of Rommel included in the Sd.Kfz.250/3 kit make me think it could be a Fieseler Storch.
What is your guess?

Well Number 101 is a 1/48th MiG-15bis "Korean War" with markings for 2 North Korean, 1 Soviet Air Force, and 1 Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force aircraft.
But that really doesn't answer the question .

Aye Captain, the only perfect match is the Storch.
I had rather seen a Nick, but a Fi 156 is cool too.
All the best
Steffen
P.S. irgendwann werde ich dich wohl mal besuchen kommen

Hi all!
A Storch would be indeed very nice. But maybe it's a Hs 126!
Wird es Karlsruhe sein?

Hi Jean-Luc
Assuming the comment does have some truth in it, I do not think it will be a Hs 126 .. it is much less known than the Storch

Meine Sohne war in Kaiserslautern geboren. Karlsruhe war schone.
Maybe a 1/48 Me 109F, or a desert 190 with a BMW 327

Hi Jean-Luc
They wouldn't... they couldn't... could they?... well, Tamiya did re-box the old ESCI Hs 123... uh-oh!...
Fingers firmly crossed it's a new mould!

Hi all!
It will be a new tool!

It seems that Tamiya discovered the vertues of PE parts to enhance the realism of plastic kits!
Tamiya will also include figures in some of their kits:
Citroen Traction 11CV - 1/48 w/Luftwaffe Crew
Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb - 1/48 w/Royal Air Force Crew
It also seems that Tamiya discovered the vertues of collaboration with other manufacturers!
