Here are pics of my latest Monogram build, a 1/48 scale P-40.
This was not an easy model to build, many of the parts did not fit right and the fuselage was warped, very unusual for a Monogram kit.
The model was painted with Model Master enamels and markings are from my spare decal box.

Les,
In what seems to be typical for you, you have built another great looking model.
I like the fact that it is a captured aircraft. We get so used to seeing our favorites in the usual markings, Flying Tigers, Mustangs w/ invasion stripes, etc, that it takes a bit to register that it is indeed a P-40. Great job!

Thanks very much Derek!
I forgot to mention this is a what-if, AFAIK Zirkus Rosarius never used the P-40.
When I decide to do a model of a 'real' a/c I always try to do the markings of a less well known a/c, the planes the aces flew are often done to death by other modelers. What-ifs like this P-40 are interesting because they are something you don't see much or at all.
