With a brace of P-47D kits appearing this year, Periscopio Publications could hardly have timed this new book better. Nigel Julian (Lampie) reviews the first volume of their new “Famous Aircraft Of The World” series of modelling references.

As you'd expect, I couldn't resist sneaking a peek between the pages before sending the book to you! I agree - it looks like the start of a very useful good-value-for-money series and I hope Periscopio take on board your point about including cockpit shots in the walkarounds. Get that sorted and they'll really have a superb set of modellers' references.
