Yes, sadly this seems to be the case again. However, for someone who isn't after an hyper-accurate model it still represents a great package. For the others it may be a disappointment.
I'm more a relaxed builder but I think I will try to modify the engine nacelles. Or maybe someone will do some resin replacements in the near future?

It seems silly to me that a manufacturer would stop short of making the kit accurate. It is almost like quitting a marathon within site of the finish line. I dont pretend to know all the intricasies of manufacturing, and can understand there is probably a financial reason to stop short. Even though this looks like a good kit, I have enough in my stash that I wont miss not buying this kit. Thanks for the Brutally Honest review.

Hello. Isn't that funny. I just received the Ju88 in the mail for the MOM contest. I didn't get to check it out closely yet. Being that I'm not a "has to be just like the real thing" type of builder, I'll probably build it right out of the box. I just might shelve the Stuka in the snow build and start this one, we'll see. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for the review Jean-Luc and Rowan. I like the photos of the clear parts, well done, Mike.

You can purchase from Heritage Aviation (UK) a resin conversion for the Ju-88 A5, it's for the DML/Revell kit. Lovely details.
