First thanks Nigel.
I usually don't do airplanes and first in 30 plus years.
So with that out the way.
kit is Academy 1/48 scale P-38.
But I bet you knew that.
Will take better pics once Sun is out and more is done.
Only thing I will add on this is the Seat belts and Resin tires and guns.
Everything else is what is in the box.
First time for Alclad paint also

Update.
Boy am I a SLLOOOWW builder.
Come to think of it have not advanced much since last time but spinners are painted and fighting with these thick Academy decals that will not obey.
Wheels are to be changed to Resin True Detail ones.
Have both Checkerboard and Diamond.
Just wanted to see how much weight was needed to keep it on it's wheels.
Hopefully paint this week some time.

Nobody has the Putt Putt Maru ones.
Only one that did them was Micro scale and they have stopped making them years ago.

were you able to figure out the exact layout of the supercharger intake hoses through the main gear bay? I am building this kit and cannot figure out the lay without it fouling with the main gear.

I'm liking the colour scheme on this..............very nice.
Tell me, once you have the natural metal finish effect applied, how do you get rid of all the tiny spots/specs of in the finished paint? Your paint job looks really smooth.
