Here is my latest creation: Eduard's 1/72 Fokker Dr.I
I couldn't believe how small this aircraft is in this scale.
I would have rigged it but my old eyes couldn't handle the strain.
I did manage to add some masking tape seat belts though.
What do you think?

Decent job on the Dr.I. For small detailed work I suggest an optivisor. I note that you went "old school" with the Dr.I camouflage and used the light blue on the upper surfaces as well as the lower. Then you streaked over the upper surfaces. At any rate thanks for posting the images. What was the most difficult part of the build for you? This newer Eduard mold is a far cry from the old Revell Dr.I kits in 1/72.

Stephen,
Thanks for the reply.
For the small scale it went together suprisingly well and was not near as frustrating as I thought it was gonna be.
The worst part of the build was all my fault. I had to repeatedly touch up the blue undersurface when the red paint bled around the edges and in between the ailerons and the wing. I also got overzealous with some of the green streaking and had to redo spots.
Other than that it was a joy and I am happy with the results.
Now I can get onto the 1/72 Albatros...

This is why I stick to 1/48 and 1/32.
You did a really, really nice job on this build. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mike and Carl.
After I finish the Albatross I think I will stick to a larger scale. At least for the WW1 stuff.
