Awesome! Two question:
1) What did you use for masking the canopy?
2) How did you do the camo? Freehand? Masks?
Seems like biplane season on Armorama right now #:-)

I use 3M blue painters tape for masking canopies. This canopy was a little harder than most because it was small. It probably would have been a good candidate for a liquid mask.
The camo was painted freehand with a Paasche H single action brush-my first attempt at freehand camo. The dark earth was painted first followed by the green. The more I look at it the happier I am with how it turned out. If I had to do it over, the green stripe on the stbd upper wing seems a bit wide.

Plain and simple it is a piece of garbage.
Just joking. Pre-April fools joke, haha. No it really is cool.

Looking very good. One question, what color were the exhausts painted? Kinda hard to tell.

Exhaust were painted rust per the directions. They will get weathered with pastels before it's finished to give them a dirty look as well.

You could stop right now and make a fantastic diorama with it. Have a guy with a spray painter. The propeller nearby, and someone just finishing pulling the mask off the engine area .The plane looks incedibly realistic.
