Hi
I have done the dirty deed and got myself an airbrush & conpressor and would now like to know what everyone thinks is the best matt & satin varnish out there.
Also does it make a difference if the base paint is enamel or acyrlic and does the future floor polish make selection important as well.
Thanks in advance
Brian

This is one where everyone has their own preference i suppose. My preference is definately Gunze flat and satin acrylics. But then i prefer Gunze and Tamiya for all paints.
It should never matter what the base coat is as long as it's cured fully.

I use future (one or two coats before applying the decals and one or two coats after applying the decals. But I do add some 20% isopropylalcohol to the future (makes it more fluid).
When I want a matt coat I add some gunze flat base to my last coat of future.
I do let dry a long time (a week) in between coats
